‘Where’ We Pray
Matthew 6:6 (NLT) “…But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything will reward you…”

Jesus gives us specific instructions on where we are to go when we pray. Depending on where we may be at certain times – our jobs, in a meeting, in class, etc. – we might not be able to literally find a closet to go into and have prayer. That’s okay, because wherever we go throughout the day is the perfect place for us to pray! Members of the body of Christ are mobile prayer closets! No wonder the devil stays so busy! Everywhere the adversary travels, he sees where God’s people are planted. When one or more believers become afflicted, other believers corral around with prayer and support the same way that white blood cells gather to attack germs that infiltrate the human body! This is not a coincidence, but more of an analogy of the body of Christ! We pray everywhere to draw the lost, the sick, and the broken towards the Light of Jesus, and to help other believers stay strong in the Lord. Pray everywhere in the Spirit, because people are in constant need of the Presence of God in their lives. For those who are in Christ, no place is off limits for prayer.
