‘Why’ We Pray
Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

God’s love is unlimited and everlasting, and he wants to share His abundance of love, life, joy, peace, and relationship with us for all eternity. So, we pray to let God know that we love Him. We pray to tell God, “Thank You!” We pray so we can stay connected to Him. We pray because He protects us with His grace and mercy. We pray because we depend on God to help us when we are tempted and weakened by sin. We pray so we can access the Holy Spirit’s guidance in our decisions and life experiences. We pray so we can align with God’s Word and intercede on behalf of people in need of prayer. We pray so that what we believe of God in the spirit will manifest into the physical world.     We pray because God commands us to. Amen.
