Giving and Receiving
Hebrews 13:16 (NLT) And don’t forget to do good and share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.
Love is complete when it is shared. We give and receive love through our interactions, doing things for one another, and spending time together. Yet, there are people beyond our family, friends, and co-workers who need to know that we love them and appreciate their lives, too. They are our vulnerable brothers and sisters that deserve the love, mercy, and grace that God sends through us to deliver to them. In this season of giving and receiving, let’s make sure we share love and hope with those whom the world considers ‘the least of these’. Give tangible gifts that they can hold onto. When we turn up the light in someone else’s life, we also increase the light in our own lives. The light of hope and love originates from God. Let’s do our part in spreading God’s Holy Light this Christmas.
