Worship Is About God
John 4:23-24 (NIV) “Yet a time is coming and has now come when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
All of the aspects of true worship point to God - the Father of all creation – and that’s that. Worship is exclusively about God. But you say that people praise Jesus and thank the Holy Spirit. Yes – and they are correct in doing so, because they are one in the Trinity. Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are the Three-Person Trinity of God. Therefore, worship is all about God – our loving Father - Who takes care of all our needs and develops us for the great works of His Kingdom. To worship our God in spirit and truth is our response of gratitude for the abundance of love and blessings we receive from Him! We shall worship the true and living God forevermore! He is our Father. Glory be to His Name!
