Full Fruition of Love
1John 4:12 (NLT) No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
God is Love. We have never seen God, but we know what expressions of God look and feel like. I’m not talking about superficial love that is weak and temporary. Words and thoughts alone are not enough. I’m talking about that deeply profound love – you know – that 1 Corinthians 4-7 love. That’s the real love God commands us to have for each other. We are meant to have pure and generous interactions towards one another. If our love is real, it will never run out and it will never turn against us. We call it agape, and it is the full fruition of love…God.
