The Gifter’s Gift
John 17:3 (NIV) Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
The everlasting gift of Eternal life made His way from Heaven through many generations. Father God gave us His Only Son; Jesus gave us Himself, and we now have the gift of salvation from our sins. In return, God wants us to give ourselves to Jesus so that He may come back and receive us as His own. The Gifter’s Gift…what sweet love is this? Think on these things as you break the bread and drink the cup in communion today. Are you willing to give your life to Jesus? Your life is your gift to give back to the Gifter.
