The Subtle Things We Do
Ephesians 5:15-16 (NLT) So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

We have Good News to share with people. Some people may have already heard it; some may have given up on it; some are searching for it; some think they are the experts on it; and some are completely lost to it. When we talk about Jesus Christ, we certainly want to convey the character of His love, compassion, grace and mercy so that we can encourage people to believe in Him and desire to know Him. Do you know that one of the most effective ways we share the Good News of Jesus occurs in the subtle things we do? A heart in need of a Savior can sense the characteristic touch of Jesus through the actions of His believers. Quiet and gentle, yet deeply profound is the nature of love that we openly and inconspicuously transfer into other people’s lives by the way we live and the way we show our care and concern. Yes, by all means we’ll proclaim the Good News every chance we get, and we’ll also let the power of the subtle things we do speak boldly, too!
