God’s Pleasure
1 Thessalonians 4:1-2 (NLT) Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live in this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more. For you remember what we taught you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.
God gave up His Heart, His All - His One and Only Son – because He loves us completely.                       He knows us better than we will ever know ourselves. Obviously, there is something about us that gives God pleasure in caring for us and blessing us despite our sinful nature. I want to learn everything about who I am in Christ. I choose not to believe what the world says I am or what it predicts I will be. I want to walk in that lighted pathway of who I am in Jesus so that my life can give God great pleasure! What about you? Is God’s pleasure the focus of your life? There is only goodness and blessings in store for those who live to please God. It isn’t always easy, but it is worth every waking day of your life. You can believe that.
