Following Jesus Together
John 15:13(NLT) There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friend.
You and I mean so much to each other. Our connection is purposed by God.

Unfortunately, the god of this world runs interference in a host of ways to try and keep our hearts and minds from uniting as one within the will of God. We who follow Jesus serve to help other people desire to follow Him. You and I serve one another as we serve others so we can stay encouraged. But our connection can be breached by the adversary, causing us to behave as if it is ‘we’ who have a following instead of ‘Jesus’. We are neither man or woman enough to suffer the Cross as Jesus did for us. How dare we claim His followers as our own! The Cross reminds us of why our connection and our discipleship means so much. We share in a Love that was willing to die for us, and we are blessed to share with each other a love that dies to self for the sake of others. Following Jesus together makes us a whole body made up of the Light and the Love of an Eternal Kingdom. Following Jesus together leads us…Home.
