The Exam – The Example
Psalm 119:59-60 (NLT) I pondered the direction of my life, and I turned to follow your laws. I will hurry, without delay, to obey your commands.

When our actions show our respect and obedience to the scriptural lessons of the Bible, we demonstrate our connection to Jesus. Our connection is our relationship with Him. This sounds good and feels even better. But in all truth – life exams don’t always sound good and feel great. Our flesh wars against our spirit. Our intellect attempts to intercept the Messenger of our heart. Most of our struggle is within us, and we have to overcome them before our actions can be a positive testimony for other people to witness as they also struggle in this conflicted world. How can we do this? We can do this by being headstrong and heart strong in the Word of God. It is in the scriptures that we have the exam and the example of Jesus Christ to study and to follow. Do you want to win in life – win in a way that is eternal? In Jesus, we are set for victory. Amen.
