Exploiting Jesus

John 14:6 (NLT) Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me…”
Self – until it completely surrenders to the full teachings of scripture – will do some of the most self- serving things in the Name of Jesus. Yes, self will promote acts of Christian service and talk that are as believable as those done by sincere servants of the Lord. But once their gain has been gotten – they change. However, Jesus remains Who He is – the only way our souls can know and serve the true and living God! Go ahead and try exploiting Jesus if you want to. I guarantee you this: Your fake will eventually hit the fan because Jesus is not the One to be played with. Think about what you do and why you’re doing it in regards to your finding a way to get what you think you need. The best thing you can do for your ‘self’ is to get serious about your relationship with Jesus, and let it be real.
