Keep Doing Good Things
Esther 6:11b (NLT) “This is what the king does for someone he wishes to honor!”
Everything you do counts for something. The extra time you take to make sure all is in its proper place before you change out your shift at work with someone else; you going out of the way to do something that you don’t receive praise or pay for; the things you sacrifice for the sake of providing for someone else’s needs; taking the heat for an error you didn’t make so that others won’t lose their jobs…these are all humble and noble attributes that will reciprocate themselves back to you with blessings and honor in due time. While no one asks you or tells you to do such good things, you do them anyway. Philippians 2:4 says, “Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.” Obviously, this is what is in your heart. Good job. Keep on doing good things. God will honor you!
