People Are Precious
1 John 3:1 (NLT) See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.

When Jesus gave His life for the redemption of your and my sins, that matter was settled once and for all. This does not give believers the right to be authoritarians over the sins of people. We are not assigned to be sin discerners for the Lord! Reflecting on the sins we’ve been (and are) guilty of, and the grace and mercy God forgave us with – my, oh, my – let the testimonies fly! Consider every person you intersect up close and at a distance each day. They, too, have testimonies…some have testimonies that they aren’t fully aware of yet! All in all, people are precious. They are created and appointed for their time in the earth, and their value is infinite. Don’t pass by the opportunities God presents for you to connect with different people every day. God’s love for us and our love for each other are the bridge between Heaven and earth, don’t you know?
