Terminate Worry
Mark 8:33b (NLT) “Get away from me, Satan!” … “You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”
Scripture teaches us how to handle the stuff that distracts us from staying centered in the peace we have when we keep our focus on God. The thing is – we’ve got to be quick and steadfast in putting that wisdom knowledge to work. Keeping God first means keeping everything about Him at the forefront of our thoughts and actions, and in our heart. This allows us to see things through His eyes of love and deal with them appropriately. Take worry, for example. Through our eyes, we allow worry to rob us of time and energy. Worry hinders our faith. But through the eyes of our God Who loves us – we know to relinquish the reigns of worry to God and take hold of His Sovereignty in all things. Hence, worry is thereby terminated. Give this knowledge an active try. God won’t disappoint you.
