Matthew 5:13a;14,16 (NLT) “You are the salt of the earth…” “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden…In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”
The Light of God’s Kingdom illuminates throughout the entire world through the service of His church body because we are planted everywhere!!! No form of earthly darkness is dark enough to keep out the Kingdom Light that shines in the heart of every believer. It’s no wonder that the influence of a thriving church cannot be contained within the boundaries of its origin. It takes the stage statewide on its way to the nations of the world! The cultivation of our influence to spread the Good News about Jesus has been with us all along, even in our small beginnings. God is faithful in the way He prepares us in advance for the places He will send us to grow His Kingdom! Sometimes it can be very difficult to understand what good your influence has in the place where God has sent you. Before you take it upon yourself to uproot to another location without God’s permission, try asking Him to help you grow in trust and patience in knowing that He’s using you for the best advantage of His Kingdom.
