What We Say and Do
Matthew 7:24;26 (MSG) These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundational words, words to build a life on. …But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don’t work them into your life, you are like a stupid carpenter who built his house on the sandy beach.

The power of the words we speak is immense, and our actions that follow are only as great as the spirit of what we say. Actions speak louder than words; you can believe that. In a fisherman’s terms: Words cast the bait that is on the line, belief and expectation heats the oil in the pan, and action reels in the fish! In everything God the Father and Jesus the Son ever said and did – there was and still is purpose and action. Clear and to the point – if we want to see some radical changes happen in our life and the life of the church, we need to say what God says, and do what He says do! Our standard of speech and action cannot be below the Word of God, for it is within the Word of God that the blessed foundation of our lives is established.
