Godly Disruption
Isaiah 45:4a-b; 5b,6 (NLT) “And why have I called you for this work? Why did I call you by name when you did not know me? …I have equipped you for battle, though you don’t even know me, so that all the world from east to west will know there is no other God. I am the Lord, and there is no other.

Laws, lies, and loopholes infiltrate our governing authorities keeping us in a state of uncertainty. How is it that the well-doers are such experts on what’s best for those of us who aren’t doing so well? While we are fortunate to have a few caring men and women elected and positioned to voice the reality of the minority and who work to bring a change to our condition – there is a body of spiritual suppression that is more burdensome than the work that lies before us to get done. Saints – you tell me – what can outrank the authority of our Sovereign God? Nothing? Therefore, if our refusal to silence the prophetic Good News conjures up some Godly disruption – so be it! Good trouble in Christ changes things. There is nothing in this earth that is too great for the church body to overcome, because we are governed by our living Savior! May the Word of God forever abide in our hearts and flow from our tongues!
