Essential Workers In Christ
Nahum 1:7 (NLT) The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in Him.

Our mind, body, and soul are extremely vulnerable in these pandemic times. The domino effect of strains and imbalances in the ecosystem, economy, workforce, government – you name it – add to the stress overload people are going through. And yet, a Hope Light burns brightly for us, because the Lord is our refuge. Because the Lord lives in us, we have the tenacity it takes to withstand difficult times and the residual effects they bring to our lives. No one can do this as a solo act. Essential workers in Christ work together. We are numerous, and we are one body. We simultaneously undergird humanity with strength and support as the Lord is close to us and caring for us according to God’s will. “So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
