Under Construction
Philippians 1:6 (NIV) And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

A friend of mine came to work wearing a t-shirt that read ‘Under Construction’. Without asking about the concept behind the statement, I already understood what it meant for her. I knew about the hindrances she’d been challenged with over the past several weeks. Certainly, she had been tested, and her flesh was more than willing to advocate on her behalf! However, her spirit possesses the Good Fruit, and she reigned supreme through it all to the Glory of God! Now, that doesn’t mean that my friend had an easy time dealing with the frustrations she felt. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – ‘the struggle is real, y’all!’ But the Good News is that as long as we are under God’s construction, we inevitably will be complete in the wholeness of our image in Jesus Christ! Thank You, Lord, for the divine construction work you are doing in our life! You’re Who we’re depending on to mold and shape us into the wholeness of your image – inside and out!
