Would Jesus Know You?
Matthew 7:23(NLT) “…I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.”
It is a blessing to be able to confess that you know Jesus. To have an encounter with our Savior is the ultimate joy of life! But is that joy complete? If Jesus was to come looking for you in a crowd of people, would He know you? Your answer would depend on whether or not you were convicted by your encounter with Christ to live the life of a new creature versus the life of one conformed to the ways of this world. It is a grave mistake to revere the entity of Jesus in the likes of you or me. In massive contrast to our chameleon behavior, Jesus is one and the same always. Those whom He knows He finds because they reflect His spirit. They do not get lost from His Presence. Based on the scriptural evaluation of your behavior, do you think Jesus knows you? I hope you can say ‘yes’. Believe me, you’ll never find a better friend than He.
