The Look of Love
Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14(ESV)
Debra’s mom held her hand as they leisurely strolled across the yard on her last day of camp. Observing them from a distance, I witnessed a conversation between two hearts that spoke the depth of their love for one another. I saw their look of love as they looked into each other’s eyes and giggled and hugged. They were owning their moment together with no distractions. When Debra kissed her mom and told her goodbye, there was a skip in both their steps as they parted ways. I imagine that skip was a result of the positive spiritual energy produced by their love. The look of love empowers, secures, and validates our value. What kind of look are you expressing to the people in your life? Let it be the look of love that will build them up on the inside, because the difference it makes will most certainly show up on the outside.
