Isaiah 41:9(NLT) I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying, ‘You are my servant.’ For I have chosen you and will not throw you away.

Feeling Rejected?
Just one tiny seed of rejection can break a soul at an early age and the effects can linger throughout a lifetime. There are two places in our life that I believe can do the most damage in causing us to feel rejected. Those places are our home (blood family) and our church (faith family). How we are received and nurtured in these two entities can make the difference in how we view ourselves and the world and how we are able to function in different settings and with different people. Victims of rejection are everywhere, and it doesn’t have to be this way. Everyone who has breath has been chosen by God to live. We have His approval and we are valued above anything else in the world. Together, we can lift each other up and conquer the hurt and loneliness of feeling rejected. No one can deny us of the infinite value of our life and the infinite possibilities we can accomplish. Home and church are essential foundations to the establishment of our self-value. And while neither are perfect, we have the assurance that our family blood (in Jesus) and our faith (in God) will cancel out everything that would have us to think we are less than who God says we are.
