Psalm 19:12-13(NLT) How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin.

Purge Us, Lord!
Revival does not cover over the sins of believers, and revival doesn’t recycle energy that has already been expended for Kingdom works. Whoa! You mean to say there is sin within the hearts of believers? Yeah, Skippy! There certainly is sin in the hearts of everyone, and believers in Christ are no exception. But praise be to God! He is such a Good Father to us. When we ask God for revival, He looks in our heart to address everything in it that would stop us from receiving the full restoration that revival brings. By His touch, our hearts are purged of our sins through our confession and repentance. Revival replenishes us with the invigorating Word of Truth that reminds us that we are not capable of serving the Kingdom and God’s people by our own flesh. Only by the Power of God are we able to carry out the Great Commission and help spread revival across the land. We thank You, Lord for purging us of everything within our heart that would prevent us from speaking, walking, talking, and sharing the truth of Your Word and Your Love to the world!
