Devotion

2 Corinthians 4:8-9(NLT) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.

Room To Fall
We make mistakes. We do things that are wrong. When we mess up, we need room to fall. Society and some of our closest circles aren’t always favorable to giving us that room. The exit door is what we’re more quickly offered. But we all need room to hit the ground sometimes. There in the fall is where a spiritual arena permits us the opportunity to realize the purpose of doing what’s right regardless of how we feel. It’s all about choices, and every choice is a seed that produces its content. Room to fall lets us experience the consequences of the choices we make without condemning us to abandonment. Sometimes that’s all we need to help us regroup and reset our focus so we can get up and make a positive difference in the lives of people who find themselves at a crossroads. Yes, it often takes falling to help us get up and stand with purpose. Keep this in mind if you ever find yourself looking down your nose at a person who is falling. Do the right thing, and make room.
