Friends
(Psalm 133:1/NIV) How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!

How much time and attention do you invest in friendships? Everyone needs to have at least one person in their life whom they can call ‘friend’. Making time to develop friendships does not mean being in a person’s company all the time, everywhere, and in all things. But establishing relationships does mean spending intentional quality time getting to know each other, learning about your likes and differences, bonding in spirit, and sharing important experiences – both good and bad. Your life is enhanced by the love and support that results from being a friend to other people and having friends. That’s community. That’s extended family. Jesus is the closest and truest Friend we will ever have, and He blesses us and expects us to be a friend to others. The next time you are talking on the phone or hanging out with friends, take a moment to relish in how much better life is because of the relationships you have with the people in your life. No one should be friendless. There’s always room to invest in someone new and make them a part of your network of friends.
