Don’t You Dare Give Up!
(1 Corinthians 9:24/NLT) Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win!
Hey! Who told you to stop? Who told you the way you thought you were supposed to go back to school, open that business, make repairs to your home, get in better health, stabilize your finances, find love again (put your specific circumstance here) is the only possible way it can be done? It’s a lie that has no truth to it, and if you believe it – you’re just using it for an excuse to give up. Don’t you dare give up! Instead of giving up, and instead of starting over – let God show you another way to win! “Anything is possible if a person believes.” (Mark 9:23b) Jesus said it, and that’s more than enough to cancel out every lie that comes against you. Take every limit off of your thinking, and make up your mind to be flexible to the when, where, and how of doing things God’s way! Don’t you dare drop out of your race. God’s momentum and your belief in all that is possible for you will have you climbing mountain peaks and crossing distant shores in addition to achieving your hearts desires! Run with God to win! No one ever loses when they run on His team!
