Did Someone Say, “Party?”
(Luke 15:23 NIV) “Bring the fattened calf and kill it! Let’s have a feast and celebrate.”
Who says you’ve got to have a specific occasion or a legitimate reason to celebrate in order to throw a party” Okay, if that’s the case---here’s an okay and legit reason that works pretty darn well for those of us who know how to be spontaneous! Let’s celebrate ‘just because’! There are endless celebratory sentiments that ‘just because’ covers. Sometimes we need to stir up an impromptu party and send some joy up in the atmosphere just because we can, we should, we’ve come this far by faith, the Lord is mighty good to us, we’re still alive, we have family and friends who love us, life is worth living…heck, because it’s Friday!!! We can use safe disciplines and have ourselves some fun around the grill. So now, did someone say, “Party?” When does yours start? I’ll bring some wings! Have yourself a joyful day in the Lord!
