Go Walking
(3 John 1:2 NIV) Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
Walking is so beneficial to your body. The energy you exert through this simple movement is a conduit for healing, strengthening, and stimulating the functions of the internal systems within you. Walking enhances your physical vitality! The healthy glow of your skin, the sparkle in your eyes, the wholeness of your breathing are results of regular walking. You’ve got to keep that body of yours moving! Keep that blood flowing through your veins and that air circulating through your lungs! Are you aware of the correlation between our physical walk and our faith walk? When we exercise them both, we grow stronger. But when we neglect them, we suffer the loss of our physical and spiritual strength. What’s it worth to you to put on some sneaks and go walking on the regular? It should be right up there at the top of your list along with taking care of your temple and showing God gratitude for your life. Honor the Temple Maker…put on some sneaks…go walking.
