Dumb Devil
(Ephesians 6:13 NLT) Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

After leaving an inspiring Sunday morning service, Audrey got in her car and headed home. As she was driving down the road, Satan revealed his presence in her car. The weight he placed on Audrey’s spirit was intense. He countered every ounce of truth she had received at church with depressing thoughts. Audrey boldly said out loud, “Okay, devil. You just wait ‘til I get you to the house!” When she got home, Satan hopped out the car and followed Audrey inside the house. He watched her place her Bible in the center of the kitchen table, and then she went into her bedroom and shut the door behind her. Satan took a seat in the recliner and laughed to himself while he waited for Audrey to return. He had plans to wreak havoc on her Godly peace. But Audrey gave the devil just enough time to get still…and fall asleep. Dumb devil! He let his guard down. Before he knew anything, Audrey was standing over him wearing the whole armor of God and speaking with an Authority he knew he couldn’t defeat! Empowered by the Holy Spirit, Audrey slayed the devil from left to right and kicked him right out the front door!
Moral of the story: Christians who stay dressed in their super suit (the Armor of God) are not to be taken for fools!
