Prepare While You Wait
(James 5:7) Be patient, then brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.

Two farmers talked about what they were preparing to plant in their fields this spring. They discussed the field layouts for different vegetations, the timing and order of putting down the seeds, and the number of days in each cycle before certain crops would be ready to harvest. Both farmers had the mutual objective to produce bountiful crops. They were just waiting for a sign from nature that the soil was prime and ready for planting after the first spring rains. The farmers had prepared and rehearsed in their minds their plan of action while they waited on the Lord’s cue to begin their work. Do you have a project in mind that you want to take on? Are you planning and preparing for your project before you get started? It would be a good idea to do that so when the time comes for you to get started, you’ll be focused and ready to produce great results.
