“Shhhhh…”
(Proverbs 17:28) Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.

“Silence is a sounding thing, to one who listens hungrily.”
Gwendolyn B. Bennett 1902-1981 (American artist, writer, journalist, poet, prose writer)

Don’t be afraid of the quiet. Silence speaks a language of its own. It might fill your ears with the reflected sounds of constant activities from weeks gone by that you need to filter out of your head. It might embody you with peace and a heightened awareness of presence, clarity, and calm. All in all, silence creates space for us to find centeredness. It makes us realize how exhausting too much activity can be and how tranquil we become overall when we say, “Shhhhh,” to ourselves and get still within the quiet realm of silence.
