The Splendor of God
(Isaiah 35:1-2a) The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; …

Springtime pollen has coated the air and everything around us with its tinted hue of goldenrod yellow. When it rains, the puddles and spackles of yellow gather on the pavement. Those of us who suffer with allergies know how aggravating it is to deal with itchy eyes and inflamed sinuses. But our inconveniences don’t stop us from enjoying the magnificence of God’s beautiful nature! Who else can create such brilliantly colored flowers and plants and arrange them to peak and flourish in perfectly assorted arrangements? It’s a grand way for spring to make an entrance, isn’t it? Don’t miss the splendor of God in this season of renewal. If only for a few moments, mask up, distance yourself, and step outside to adore the sights and sounds of this season!
