Who’s At The Table?
(Mark 10:27) Jesus looks at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
It’s no wonder why the world continues to face global issues like healthcare, education development, climate change, racism, injustice, conflict, and crisis. When leaders and decision makers gather at the table to discuss these matters, do they even consider including the authority and wisdom of God? It seems sensible to confer with the Creator of the entire universe if we want a chance to reach solutions, repair damage, and preserve quality that is being stripped away from humanity and the natural resources of the planet. We are privileged to have access to the Owner’s Manual (the Holy Bible). Therein, we understand the answer to every matter under the sun begins and ends with God. You and I may not have a place at the decision-making table, but we most certainly have a place at the foot of God’s altar. As world leaders gather to hammer things out, let’s continue to kneel before the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, and seek His grace and mercy for all humanity and all creation. Amen.
