He’s Coming
(Zechariah 9:9) Rejoice greatly, Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
Jesus walked and talked with abundant humility throughout his ministry in the earth. His humility demonstrated His great power even as a human man. How so? He had everything in His Heavenly home, but He gave it all up and came down to earth for our sake. He went about His Father’s business every day without complaining or trying to get out of what only He could do. Did He brag about Himself to make man feel worthless? No. He came down to man’s level, and He offered man the invitation to join Him in living life eternally. Jesus humbly came to man, and He’s coming back again. A King Who comes to His people – what other king does that? Only King Jesus. He’s coming back.
