The Source of Our Help
(Isaiah 65:24) Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.
How wonderful it is in knowing that Jesus is already responding to our needs even before we call to Him for help! As best as a parent or friend may try, they can’t help us with most things unless we go to them and tell them what our needs are. But Jesus keeps everything about us on His radar, and His great delight is to have us turn to Him above all other means of getting help. Yes, He may provide His help to us through someone else. However, it is our seeking help from Him first and foremost that brings Him pleasure, glory, and honor. That initial action confirms we know where our help truly comes from. Our help comes from the Lord. Amen.
