“You’re not obligated to win. You’re obligated to keep trying to do the best you can every day.”

Try

(Luke 13:24) “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.”

Winning is the obligation to succeeding in this world. We pour all our effort into it, and if we fail – we are considered failures. But are we, really? In everything we do, God teaches us lessons that help us to be winners in the Christian life. Winning isn’t always about a position or a prize we seek to gain. It’s more about the lesson and purpose we gain from trying. No matter what the outcome, we must strive to give the best of ourselves in what we do every day, especially in our Christian walk. That’s our obligation. When we fall short, God will be right there to cheer us on. We just have to remember whether we win or lose there is always something for us to gain in trying.
