Devotion

“None of us succeeds at this business alone. Defending the country requires teamwork and cooperation. It requires a certain humility, a willingness to learn, and absolute respect for one another. I know you share my devotion to these qualities.”

Lloyd James Austin, III (1st African American U.S. Secretary of Defense, retired U.S. Army Four-Star General)

It Takes The Whole Body
(Proverbs 27:17) As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

All of us within the body of Christ are required to relinquish our individualities and become one in unity so the works of the church may be effective in bringing new believers into fellowship with Jesus. When we lay our differences aside and unite with love and respect for one another, we make a strong church. As a team, we show the best of Who Jesus is to a world that is terribly divided. There is no division in God’s Kingdom, and there must be no division in His church. A healthy body with all its different parts functions as one. In Christ we are one in mind, body, spirit, soul, and service. In all we do for the Kingdom, to God be the Glory. Amen.
