Seal of Approval
“If you’re not allowed to make mistakes, you’re not allowed to grow.”                                  Chaka Pilgrim (Music Industry Executive, President of Roc Nation Records)

(Romans 4:3; 6-7) For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” David also spoke of this when he described the happiness of those who are declared righteous without working for it: “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are out of sight.”
Don’t you just love how Jesus opens your mind to understanding when you study the scriptures? I sure do! I go into the Word one way, but I always come out feeling like a starburst has exploded inside of me, piercing my spirit with clarity and truth! And so it is in my understanding that I already have God’s favor over my life because He chose to give it to me. I also understand that I don’t deserve it, and there is nothing I could ever do to earn it if that were the only way I could receive it. Because of the impact God’s favor has on my life – favor unto me even through the lives of other people – I desire to live in a way that pleases Him. God’s seal of approval is stamped upon my life. When I do wrong, I am burdened with conviction to confess and repent of it to God, and receive His grace and mercy. And then I move forward to do better so I can give Him joy. Do you accept the righteous seal of approval Jesus has freely placed upon you? Show Him that you do by being the best ‘one-of-a-kind’ you He wants you to be!
