Until We Get It Right
(Psalms 25:5) Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.

The things we do to develop discipline, humility, and patience are not as respected as they used to be.  Nowadays, the world runs on ‘instant’ about everything! Instant solutions, instant products, instant…people! What does that say about us as knowledgeable people? If everything we contribute and receive in this world is cast in a cloud and retrieved by the swipe of a card, the click of a button, or the scan of an eye or finger – what is the safest default system we can rely on if the cloud rains and everything in it crashes? It is a risk we take if we don’t appreciate honing the knowledgeability of doing some manual training over and over again until we get it right. Here’s a really basic examples – handwriting - write and rewrite until it flows right! Another basic example is reading - read often and under a light to sharpen your brain and protect your sight! The privilege to practice and master our basic skills is - by God’s grace – ours to take advantage of. When we hone it and own it, it can never be taken away from us!
