Who’s Inside Of Me

(Philippians 2:12-13) Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

I am grateful for the material things God has blessed me with that allow me to be comfortable and enjoy life. I really am. But I can find no words to express how deeply and confidently glad I am about Who lives inside of me. Jesus consumes my spirit so much so until we are literally one. He's not sitting on the nightstand by my bed waiting for me to turn the pages of my Bible. He's not in the sanctuary waiting for me to show up on Sunday morning. He's not anyplace where I can just sit Him aside and pick Him back up later. He is inside of me, and because He's within me there is nothing in, out, or of the world that I need to make my life complete. Yes, I am grateful for all of my blessings! But solely it is Jesus Who gives me reason to say I have a blessed life. If I may ask, “Who's inside of you?"
