Speak Light
(Exodus 17:11-2)) As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up - one on one side, one on the other - so that his hands remained steady till sunset.

No one is meant to live life alone. Discouragement happens. That’s why people need the connection and network of relationships with each other to help them maintain hope and progress when times are difficult. There are times when even the most positive and progressive people have moments when they feel defeated, and they want to give up. The struggle is real, but we can speak life and light, and cause a shift to occur in the atmosphere. Speaking words of encouragement can help restore doubting or fainting souls back to a place of confidence and determination. Jesus gives us the strength we need to do all things. Some of the strength we receive from Him comes in the light of a few words of encouragement spoken to us by a friend. The scriptures are filled with words that speak life and light into the human soul. Do you want to speak life and light to people who need encouragement and hope? Meditate on God's Word, and store it in your heart so you can speak its power at the appointed time.
