Tough It Out
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. --- Hebrews 10:36

I want to encourage you to take a deep breath, clear all negative thoughts of your own or words that may have been said to you out of your head, and continue on with the work you have committed to doing for the sake of the greater good. I don't care if you are working toward decreasing your credit expenses, learning a new language, being more present in the lives of your loved ones, reading and completing a book, cleaning up after yourself - whatever it is - persistence in your commitment will eventually get you to the greater good. Everything that challenges you in reaching your goal is not your call of defeat. No! It is your call to the capabilities and greatness within you! It is strength training. Your hope and your faith are stretched and empowered right along with your ability to endure and be patient with arriving to the desired outcome. Sometimes I get discouraged when I am working on a project, because I want to quickly accomplish my goal. But I stop and think about the project Jesus took upon Himself to get to the greater good for you and me. I see all that He suffered even before He was nailed to the cross. I see what he went through when He could have avoided it all together if wanted to. But the finish meant too much to Him, and He toughed it out. Can you say that the work you are committed to doing is as difficult to persevere as what Jesus did on Calvary?  Pump up your motivation, and keep at it! God has something waiting for you. Go on, and get your blessing!
