Handling Your Critics
When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. --- 1Peter 2:23

Do you. It is as simple as that. Be yourself in all that you do, and remember that all you do is to be done for the Lord. You can discern people who have your best interest at heart from people who have their own interests at heart. Caring constructive comments are appreciated because they are meant to help you be your better and best self. But the words of your critics can be mightily discouraging to the point of cutting your spirit and placing judgement on you. People aren't supposed to tear each other down. We're  supposed to build each other up. Unfortunately, everyone has their share of critics - some of them are very bold, and others of them are cowards. But before you dare to respond to them at their level, why don't you just continue to do you, and let the Lord deal with them? If you know within yourself that the Lord is pleased that your works are being done for Him, you can actually look forward to keeping your critics dissatisfied!  Think about that, and continue to...do you!
