My Fragrant Offering
For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. --- 2 Corinthians 2:15

Dear Lord,
Today I kneel before You at the altar, and I say, "Thank you", for the ultimate sacrifice You made for the salvation of my soul. As I prepare to commemorate how You suffered and died for the payment of my sins, I want to say that I am eternally grateful for the love, grace, and mercy you give to me unconditionally. I am convicted by the Holy Spirit within me whenever I think, say, or do things that I sometimes know and sometimes don't realize are not pleasing to You. My earnest desire is to lift up my life as a fragrant offering to you by being faithful and obedient in my living and in my service to You and to Your people. I pray that You will search my heart and remove anything You find that would prevent me from pleasing you. I sincerely ask forgiveness of my sins, and I ask Your forgiveness of those who have sinned against me and with me. As I eat of this bread that represents Your bruised and broken body and drink this wine that represents Your blood, I commit life to Your will, and I will remain a willing vessel of service to Your Kingdom for the rest of my life here in the earth. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
