‘All In’ With Jesus
"You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. This is my commandment to you." ---John 15:16
Getting to know Jesus is the best, the wisest, the most beneficial and everlasting decision any of us will ever make for our lives. He chose us unto Himself, and He paid the ultimate ransom note to prove it. Jesus chose you, and He chose me. He already knew about our sins and flaws when He made His decision, and He still chose us! That makes me shout! He loves us, and He wants us! There is something special about each of us far greater than we know that caused Him to look beyond our faults and say, "I choose you." We think we know ourselves, but we do not - and we will not - unless we get to know our Savior. Jesus is always watching over us and inviting us to come and get to know the intimate splendor of living in a relationship with Him. He beholds everything that pertains to us, and we can have access to it through Him. Jesus is our always and everything - the Vine Who has appointed us to thrive and multiply (live in abundance)! This is an offer with which we are either 'all in' or 'all out'. It is as simple as that. It is His commandment to us. Anything Jesus commands means that it is meant for our ultimate good, and He means what He says. Do you love Jesus enough to get to know Him? Do you love Him enough to call Him your Best Friend? Do you love Jesus enough to be obedient to His commandments? I know I do, and that is why I choose to be 'all in' with the One Who first chose me. How about you?
