Memory Reset
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. --- Philippians 3:13-14

My brothers and sisters, it has come to my attention that many of us are hoarding the wrong kind of memories in our brain, and it is causing us to not be able to recall joyful moments in our lives! Not only are we having difficulty remembering good times, but our minds are wearing down from working overtime to suppress that rotted baggage we were supposed to let go of. We are also crowding Jesus out from His position as the Command Center of our mind! No wonder we struggle with double-mindedness and erasing imprints of unpleasant experiences and conversations from our thoughts! We have clogged up the spiritual portals of our mind that need to be alert and responsive to the instructions of the Lord. In order to be able to recall and retain our good memories, receive what the Lord wants us to focus on, and press forward to what He has waiting for us in the future-we must reset our mind to stay focused on our Savior. Anything that is not of His likeness and spirit must go! Release the drama and take hold of forward and upward thinking! Let your good memories be a blessing to your soul!
