Where Are You Going?
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. ---2 Corinthians 10:5

What do you have on your mind today? I am not asking about a list of tasks you plan to perform or items you need to purchase from the store. What I am referring to are your thoughts that are rooted within your heart.  You know, those deeper thoughts that you made a conscious decision about at some point in time, and now you act on them both consciously and subconsciously. Are your thoughts in alignment with the knowledge of our Savior? I sure hope so. If not, do you like where your thoughts have taken you thus far in your life? The scriptures afford us daily self-checks.  After all, we are our closest companion day in and day out, and at any time - we can easily fall prey to sinful engagements - by being an initiator or a participator. Our actions stir from our thoughts that are originally established within our heart.  So, I ask you again, "What do you have on your mind today?"  I need to know so I can have an idea of where you are going. After all - should I decide to walk with you - I want to know that we’re both walking in the light of God.
