Speak to Your Physical Pain
"Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security. --- Jeremiah 33:6

Physical pain alerts you that something with your body is out of sync. Pain will often announce itself in ways that intimidate you (if you allow it to). If you are intimidated by physical pain that you wake up to, endure all day, and suffer with through the night - it  is time for you to talk to it in the authority of Jesus' healing power! Pain is real, but it does not have God’s permission to imprison your body, your mind, and your life with its affliction. And you do not have God's permission to be a prisoner of pain. You belong to God, and He cares for you. You are a prisoner of hope. You must believe that your Maker and Healer knows exactly what you need, and that He will provide it. In faith, you can talk to your pain when it tries to scare you with its spikes, pressures, or strains. Let your thoughts and your own physical touch anoint you with God's promises that you are loved, and that health and wholeness are yours. Envision the light of your healing Source targeting where you feel the pain and severing what must go while restoring complete well-being  to you. Allow your spirit to bask in a warm vision of physical restoration.   Be diligent in following your doctor's instructions - especially with medication and therapy - so that they can work effectively for you. And speak to your pain in confident and steadfast hope.   It will have to succumb to the authority of the healing power you have access to through your faith in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
