Providential Intervention
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. --- 2 Corinthians 9:8

Fifteen-years-old Bella made a phone call before going to sleep. Without waiting to hear his voice, she began to cry and pour out her heart. "Daddy, I miss you! I'm trying to be strong, but I need you here with me. I listen to Mom, and I check on Grandma every day. But I just don't feel like the champion you said that I am. I love you, Daddy."
Bella hung up the phone never realizing that she had mistakenly dialed her grandmother, who quietly listened to her granddaughter's plea.
A few years later when Bella graduated from high school, her grandma gave her a special gift. It was a framed picture of Bella and her dad that she had never seen before. The frame had a caption on it that read: "You're still my champion!"  For so many reasons, Bella cherished the gift! Bella spent an entire week with her grandma before she left for college. While they were together, her grandma played her a message from her cell phone. To her surprise, Bella realized it was the call she thought she had made to her dad's phone! Her father passed away when she was only twelve years old, but her mom kept his number activated so she could have a way to hear his voice.
God providentially intervened in Bella’s life through her endearing grandmother and reassured her of her dad’s love for her. Today is a good day to reflect on some of the wonderful ways in which God has providentially intervened in your life when you needed a touch from Heaven the most. Our God is Awesome!
