Just Keep Climbing!
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me." --- John 15:4
It is our nature to get overwhelmed by looking at an entire mountain before us instead of climbing one step at a time. But when we partner with Jesus, we can make it to the top if we remain in step with Him. What mountains am I talking about? Our dreams and aspirations - even our setbacks - they become our mountains when we approach them in the mindset that they can only be accomplished or overcome by our self-sufficiency, our self-reliance, our self-importance, our self-improvement, and our self-governance. In other words - we think that if it is going to happen, it is totally up to us to make it happen. But it is just the opposite - nothing we attempt to do will happen if we try to do it on our own! Jesus is 'all in' with us for whatever it is we aspire to achieve or are challenged to endure. It is during these times that we need to up our tenacity by clinging to Him and abiding in His will for our success. Walking in step with Jesus leads to the top of the mountain and the reward! Remember this in your endeavors, and especially now in these discombobulated times. You will make it to the top and be fruitful if you do it with Jesus! Take it one step at a time, and just keep climbing!
